MissesGOLD is an extraordinary women's ensemble that convinces with its successful blend of modern music and classical instruments. Susanne Gmelch enchants with her multifaceted voice and is sometimes carried by tender, sometimes by groovy string sounds, virtuoso piano playing and / or more. With her formation MissesGOLD, she interprets well-known hits from pop, jazz, chansons & co. in a unique and refreshing way.
Classical and at the highest level of chamber music, the Berlin singer, violinist and pianist sound when playing Edith Piaf's famous chansons like "Padam Padam" or "La vie en rose", jazzy with standards like "Dream a little dream of me" or "Summertime", like a large orchestra with highlights like Adele's "Skyfall" or poppy with hits like Coldplay's "Viva la vida" or Lady Gaga's "Shallow". The varied arrangements lead the listener into an exciting new world of familiar melodies. The musicians free themselves from the purely classical garb and skilfully place an unmistakable, soulful voice in the centre.
